Horizon 2020: Call deadlines are extended due to Covid-19

Given the exceptional situation experienced by the entire country and the world in general, and also because of the extent of the restrictions in force due to the health crisis, the deadlines for the calls are extended.

The European Commission has determined the extension of the deadline for submitting proposals for H2020 calls whose closing was between March 17 and April 15, with the exception of the IMI calls (IMI2-2020-21-01) and the EIC pilot - European Innovation Council (EIC-Smeinst-2018-2020). The new deadlines for each call will be published on the official pages of the calls. Regarding the outbreak and the execution of the Horizon 2020 projects, the European Commission has detailed the following:

“The outbreak of the virus in the EU and elsewhere may have implications, for example, for participation in meetings and events organized by beneficiaries for the purposes of ongoing H2020 actions and for their implementation. It can also prevent beneficiaries from fulfilling their obligations under the action or even to carry out work in an area affected by the virus. It can also force beneficiaries to cancel a meeting due to staff unavailability or because most participants are unable to attend.”
