Javier Martín (Loogic) has been one of the most authoritative voices in Spanish entrepreneurship for many years. Not only because he was one of the pioneers in the field of technological startups, but also because he was a born evangelizer of that small revolution that we have experienced and the point of inspiration for many people. And for a few months now, he has tried to use much of his experience as an entrepreneur and investor in start-ups into a book that is well worth recommending.”Undertaking Lightweight” is the title of the book and the subtitle summarizes what it is trying to convey:”Ideas to create a company without complicating your life”. It is therefore a book with an eminently practical nature and with advice very close to reality to help entrepreneurs in the early stages of creating their project. Faced with the current enterprise out of necessity that is leading to many unemployed people unprepared to try to create a company, Martín advocates waiting to detect an opportunity and create a solid base before taking that step. Within the philosophy that the book seeks to convey of being light, the first advice he gives is to try to delay any type of attachment or obligation as much as possible. Martín has his experience as a great example, so he explains in the book that he did not create his first company until he had to pay the first bill. It is better to focus on the idea and on making the business viable and attractive before starting the paperwork related to business creation, hiring and so on. The book is divided into three sections. The first are reflections on entrepreneurship with the approach of being light. The second focuses on Martín's personal opinion on some of the main issues that concern entrepreneurs, such as the business idea, partners, team, funding, market and competition, among other things. Finally, the book dedicates a part to Internet business models, with special attention to the most innovative ones such as collaborative consumption, apps and agent development. The book “Lightweight entrepreneurship” is now on sale in Bubok, both in electronic and physical formats. For those who fall short of the book, Martín offers a service of online counseling or mentoring for entrepreneurs with whom to obtain personalized advice. And one last note, which we hope to talk to you about soon: the launch of the Loogic Startup Investment Guide 2014 initiative, in which Intelectium participates as one of the collaborating companies. Good ideas to unite the entire sector.
