Practical tips for preparing the application
Submitting a strong application significantly increases the chances of obtaining the grant. Here are a few key recommendations for preparing your proposal effectively:
1. Correctly justify the level of technological maturity (TRL)
Projects must be at levels of technological maturity between TRL 6 and TRL 8:
- TRL 6: Demonstration of the system or subsystem in a relevant environment (advanced laboratory or realistic simulated environment).
- TRL 7: System prototype tested in a real operating environment.
- TRL 8: Complete system successfully tested and validated in its final operating environment.
It includes clear evidence of previous tests, pilots carried out or certifications that justify the TRL level of the project. Describe what environment the system is currently in and how it will move forward with the requested help.
2. Clearly define the impact of AI on the value chain
One of the key objectives of the program is to integrate artificial intelligence into processes that contribute added value and concrete improvements to the business.
It explains in detail how AI will transform or improve areas such as:
- Production or manufacturing
- Logistics or inventory management
- Customizing services or products
- Customer Care
- Predictive analysis or preventive maintenance
- Cost reduction or resource optimization
It includes expected metrics (for example, time savings, error reduction, performance improvement, etc.).
3. Carefully review the eligibility criteria and eligible expenses
Many projects are rejected for not meeting administrative requirements or for including ineligible costs.
Before submitting your application review eligible expenses and make sure that all expenses are properly budgeted and documented in memory.
4. Prepare a clear, coherent and well-structured technical report
Write a report that includes:
- Objectives of the project
- Detailed technical description
- Execution schedule
- Breakdown budget
- Justification of the TRL
- Expected economic and technological impact
Avoid unnecessary technicalities and structure the document clearly. The evaluation committee must understand in a few minutes what your company is proposing and why it deserves support.
5. Review deadlines and have administrative documentation ready
- Execution time: from January 1 to September 30, 2025.
- Documentation to be submitted in the application:
- CIF and Deed of Incorporation
- Census status certificate
- Accreditation of being up to date with payments with the Treasury and Social Security
- Responsible statement of aid received
- Technical documentation of the project
- CIF and Deed of Incorporation
