Who can apply for a CDTI NEOTEC Women Entrepreneurs? Business projects of innovative companies led by women that require the use of technologies or knowledge developed based on research activity and on which the business strategy is based on the development of technology can be submitted to the call.
Projects must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for Neotec women: First, the company's management body must be comprised mostly of women. Second, women must have the majority of the company's share capital or a relevant share in the project that is the subject of the aid.
As for the first requirement, the company's management body must be comprised of more than 50% of women, individuals, starting at least three months before the deadline for submitting applications for assistance to the call.
In the event that there are legal entities that are part of the company's management body, they cannot represent a percentage greater than 25% of the same since, at least, the end date of the deadline for submitting requests for assistance to this call.
As for the second requirement, the majority ownership of the company's share capital or the relevant participation of women in the project subject to the aid, the beneficiary entity must comply with at least one of them, at the company's choice. In the first case, more than 50% of the shares or shares that make up the company's share capital must belong nominally to women, individuals, from at least the end date of the deadline for submitting requests for assistance to the call in question. In the second case, CDTI will require that at least 40% of the expenses of the personnel dedicated to the project correspond to women. For the verification of this requirement, account will be taken of the project budget submitted in the application phase in terms of hours requested for personnel expenses, as well as the budget accredited in the justification phase of the aid in terms of hours justified in terms of hours for personnel expenses.
In addition, as in the general call of Neotec, the beneficiary companies must be incorporated at most in the previous three years and at least 6 months before the closing date of the deadline for submitting applications for aid, with a minimum capital of 20,000 euros, fully disbursed, and fully registered in the register before the submission of the application.
In addition, they must be up to date with the obligations to deposit annual accounts, both individual and consolidated, if applicable, in the Commercial Registry or official register corresponding to the end date of the deadline for submitting requests for assistance in the call.
