Intelectium success story: Tribu House gets €100,000 through the ENISA Digital Entrepreneurs line to scale up its family reconciliation model in Barcelona

Tribu House combines educational play, flexible child care and parental well-being in one space.

When Marta Farré founded Tribu House in 2024, she was clear that there was a real gap in the urban market that no one was filling well: that of families with children aged 0 to 5 who need more than just a ball park. A space that integrates free play, flexible hourly care, family well-being and community: all under one roof.

What was not so clear to him was that, a year and a half later, his first center in Poblenou would be at the limit of its capacity and he would have to consider how to finance the next step without giving up more equity.

The answer was ENISA Entrepreneurs: 100,000€ of participatory loan without dilution, based on the company's previous capital increase, to activate an investment plan aimed at scaling the model to a second space.

The problem that Tribu House solves

Family reconciliation in Spain remains a structural problem. Families with young children are moving between the rigidity of nursery schools (fixed schedules, waiting lists, high monthly fees) and the lack of intermediate alternatives that allow real flexibility.

Tribu House designed a different model: a physical space where families can bring their children from 0 to 5 years old without commitment to permanence, with supervised educational play options, hourly care, wellness, pregnancy and postpartum activities for mothers and fathers, and an active community that generates loyalty.

The result after two years of operation: more than 800 active user families and a center that has reached its capacity ceiling in certain time slots. The fact that a physical space is too small is one of the healthiest problems an early-stage startup can have.

The business model

Tribu House is not a single-use concept. From day one, the company designed a model with several lines of activity that complement each other, generating revenues in different time slots and with different customer profiles.

1. Time in Tribu — Stay & Play: access to free play space based on active educational methodologies. It works with one-time payments, bonuses and memberships, generating recurring and predictable income.

2. Kids Care: flexible child care for hours, with no monthly stay or commitment. It is the direct answer to the problem of one-off reconciliation that many families with or without working have.

3. Maternal well-being and family activities: pilates, mindfulness, functional training for women, breastfeeding, postpartum and much more. High-margin proposals that take advantage of space in areas with lower occupancy.

4. Events and celebrations: birthdays and private events, mainly concentrated on weekends.

5. Specialized Services: family and life coaching, support for motherhood and child development on request. The line with the highest perceived value per customer.

This combination allows Tribu House to maximize the average ticket per family and optimize space occupancy throughout the week, without relying on a single source of income to support the model.

How has Intelectium helped them?

Intelectium has worked together with the Tribu House team to define their funding strategy and to apply for and obtain an ENISA Entrepreneur loan of €100,000. Backed by this funding and the previous capital increase, Tribu House's next objectives are:

🔸 Opening of a second center in Barcelona under a model of greater operational efficiency.

🔸 Strengthening the team with key profiles in operations, early childhood education and technology.

🔸 Optimization of the multi-space model to maximize revenues per time slot.

🔸 Consolidation of the community of more than 800 families as a basis for continuing to grow.

A New Standard in Family Reconciliation

Tribu House is positioned as a reference in the family welfare and children's leisure sector in Barcelona. Its model demonstrates that it is possible to build a solid, recurring and scalable business around the real needs of families with young children, without depending on a single line of income or private investment for each step of growth.

The funding obtained is the beginning of a new phase for Tribu House, which will continue to expand its impact on the ecosystem of reconciliation and parental well-being in Spain.
